hmmm, hmmm, hmmm...projects all coming along, still skiving off on my lit review, a few more volumes before i finish reading the Slam Dunk manga (yay! vol 12 and 13 has more akira!), sent off the international bank draft today...life is stable....sorri i haven't been writing much....

Yay! finally done that CS4260 assignment - and ahead of time! But well, actually i don't have much left anyway because i still have quite a bit of other projects that accummulate while I was twiddling my thumbs with this assignment. In the end it boiled down to typing concisely cos i put in too many details....but i'm glad it done - it's one of those things that don't get done so once you've done it you feel like you're really on a roll.....

also managed to save the cs4260 project proposal *mutters about last-minutes proposal template announcements* which is a surprise assignment that ate up a large chunk of my afternoon.

and i managed to find some very nice akira pics...but why are they always doujinshi?!

tried printing out some of the bumper stickers - but accidentally ruined my hartia pic while printing it *sob sob* - but they are really really small...

with the anime pin purchase and a good few hours at fanfiction.net i can feel myself getting back my Xel/Fil groove...I such a slave to the Media Machine....

ok ok, finally made some progress with the CS4260 assignment - have all the details already, it just that it's tedious to type in. And it's not like I don't like the assignment - i ogle at the anime sections of auctions sites *all* the time! Just tedious lar...

ooh, but on the bright side, the seller for the slayers pins has agreed to ship the pins to singapore! yay! And i'm kinda lucky too cos angel is guiding me thru' this, heheh....i really like the cos it a filia, xelloss and valgarv set - they have a chemistry that's aside from the main cast and if they weren't so kooky their relationshoips would be the stuff of melodrama. What do you mean Valgarv is not kooky? He survived all sorts of stuff - even got swallowed by a god from another dimension and still popped up again....heheh, can't wait till angel gets back...

well, well, just when i though i would surely spend today with a long face, I go and have a fun time with my friends in my honours group. After immersing ourselves in readings for a while in the icm room, we started doing caricatures of everyone in the group - Shhh, don't tell anyone - it would be fun seeing their reactions next week, heeheehee...

finally got slam dunk vol 14 and 15. I think there's a national shortage of vols 24 and 27 - i can't find them anywhere!!! not tampines, not clementi, and not bedok! oooh, but i saw a nice yellow bag that angel would like...her b-day soon and i know i will be so swamped it will be almost on top of me before i notice it....

damn, major downer just now, quite unpleasant. I think it's the source of my cynicism in life...people change kiddos, sometimes so much that it makes you wonder if you ever knew them...gah! i gotta get outta this depressive rut....

another day gone by and still no inspiration to finish my CS4260 assignment (hey, didn't i say i'll get out of this rut?) - i've got the details down but i just need to get started on the tedious task of documenting them. Can you imagine documenting step-by-step how to set an item up for auction? I think it's cos i went overbaord with the no. of details and now i got too much to type....

saw an FF griever pendant up for $9.90, really tempted cause then the bidding part of the assignment would be also done. And it's not too hard to meet at an MRT....

read a really funni (well, parts of it) fanfic - it's from Cassandra Claire's Draco Veritas fic. "Then what? What? kyaaa! tonnes of projects now - dunno how i'm gonna finish my reading list by Sept!

We cleaned and moved stuff around the ICM room yesterday - Fun! Next week the posters go up! Dunno how many of those internet bumper stickers i'm gonna print - better not overdo it....

Yay! Heart 5 came (kyaa! kawaii!!) and I saw Hana Yori Dango 31 - but can't buy it now, not after so many volumes of Slam Dunk and the cd-rs for the reformatting - gonna do that this Wed night.

NTU's gonna show Hoshi no Koe and Cowboy Bebop movie on the 29th! Can you believe they have four days of screenings? envious mutter really wanna go if I can find the time....

Moi moi still not back from her work yet *sigh* grow up already.....*teary-eyed*

All projects on green and progressing well, and my honours topic seems to be on track as well. We're decorating the ICM room - i've done my Hartia icon and immortalized Aki-chan in it as well, heheh. I was thinking Xellos but he seemed too...purple. Azalea-san as well. And if i can't cosplay Hartia, i can at least use him for an pic, heheh...

Parents were going to let me have a new laptop cos the old one's hard drive is going kooky on me, but my sis suggested trying the cheaper alternatives first, heheh...

the past week was a bit hectic, ok ok, very hectic - but things always calm down at the end of the week and i'm in skool right now to do stuff.

Hey, now i know why i' so saddened by the FF10 spoiler. Because of the shortness of the ending i found out and some of the pic, it really reminds me of having a dream - where things are really beautiful, weird and sad.

Finally got around to Assignment 1 in CS4260 - put my Flame of Recca manga up for sale at Singapore Yahoo's auction area. The bidding should be easy enough...was thinking of ebay but then what happens if i win?! but the stuff at the singapore auction site is so limited - but the sheer range is funny...so is some of the bitchiness - according to my sis, one guy who got a bad review went as far as to register many new accounts, bidded, and won just so he can give multiple bad reviews back as revenge.

Gonna piaah for my CS4251 project now - probably be really busy on Monday....

Still having a fun time crushing on Sendoh Akira, but i think it's wearing off now, heheh....

feelin' down now - just spoilt myself for the ending of FF10. It feels like Escaflowne-sad but more painful cos i dunno the characters and the graphics are sooo beautiful, it awful that the story turned out like that, esp when he started disappearing. I don't understand how some can say that there's no closure in that romance. Of cos, it looks so beautiful no one wants it to end, but wanting to hold the person you love most right up to the last moment doesn't seem like a lack of closure. It seems desperately sad - like holding on to small bits you can get...it the same feeling it wanted for the Escaflowne layout i was planning. Probably when i read more about the story i will understand why they think Tidus' choice is dumb. Did he have a choice?

...like the water though - FF10 gives a very calm blue sea kinda feeling, though it oni saw a few pics and the ending...

from now on, call me Swamp Thing - cos i'm absolutely swamped with work! I even set up a blog for my research paper so i can organise my thoughts. It'd be fun to read it....once the whole nightmare is over...

Run into a minor...ok, a major roadblock, but i hope to overcome it...gotta be brave *winces*

watched The Touch today with my dad at TM. Very very nice acrobatics and scenery but i found the plot a bit loopy. But they sure got the atmosphere of the thing right, lotsa ancient stuff (tho' the scroll was way too new...), trees and caves, etc...saw the trailer for Reign of Fire - looks like a sci-fi Dungeons and Dragons. I thot at first was an alien kinda movie. And Matix Reloaded!!! - but gonna be a year older then, though....

my brains over-heating again, from trying to keep track of all my appointments + projects. No matter how many lists I make, I don't feel like I've covered everything...arghhh!

felt a bit over-whelmed cos i feel committed to my topic now - reconciling hypertext fictions with usability - like i'm in over my head, and there's lots of stuff to do but i have no idea how to do them....tho' i tried out the 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 thing - it really works!

still making inroads into Slam Dunk manga - have 1 - 9 and 16 - 21 now. Every volume is just as funny!

in skool rite now, checking out violet haze 3.0 and my SoC blog layout - the pictures look much smoother. But dun have the opportunity to look at it on the larger moniters cos the lab is closed. heheh, they look so good, i dun wanna update new layouts. I think part of my table code for Beautios! is screwy cos it tends to load the text overlapping the picture altho' they belong to different cells, hmmm.....

much progress on the cs4251 projects - not only have we semi-decided our choice of case study, we're also gonna try out the case study on various frameworks. very encouraging cos we'll definitely be prepared.

more admin stuff to do for honours and various modules, could feel my brain going into overdrive from trying to remember so many details. But it seems we r gonna have a chalet!

skool's started, so there goes any plans for any blog/site layout updates. Even my little knowledge mgt thing for my club is on hold.

yay! got a little ray of hope for a thesis topic - the hypertext fictions vs web usability thing...still dunno if it can be pulled off tho'.The ICM honours room is ready, i heard they emptied out the broom closet just for us. But it's nice - never thot i'd ever get there, always walking though AS3 rather awed by the History Honours room...

been getting tired very fast recently - feel really sleepy as early as 9.30 pm - I think i think too much, or i think i think too much, heheh. But it's good - at least it won't have me sleeping at 3am and not being able to concentrate for lectures.

oooh! I got another idea for a layout with a description of that guy Umeda-sensei likes - "He's a soft-spoken, gentle, cultured and elegant bad person..." - kinda cute how this guy is actually quite ruthless when it is the prickly sarcastic Umeda that is actually the nice guy...

looking at my previous entry trying to regain my focus - i feel like i'm losing control of things lately - I can't get it straight in my head what to do first, what to do next. And damn! i gotta stop reading Slam Dunk manga. But Sendoh sure is cute! I got a thing for his very well-defined biceps and shoulders...*ecchi grin* and in volume 4 - isn't he eating the same honeyed lemon slices Mizuki made for Sano in the latest Hana Kimi 17? Hmm....*thoughtful*
