Was in Orchard the other day, doing impossible stuff,
Making me a pathetic puppet out of control
Saw the Coke Light promo booth, giving away free bottles -
Zero sugar!
Zero calories!
Zero flavour too...
Settled on a nearby bench to music-listen and people-watch.
The friends, the elderly, the tourists and the kiasee. Learnt -
How to hold a coke bottle and a cigarette in one hand at the same time
How many bottles can be jammed in a plastic bag
How to pass them off to your son or daughter-in-law (for the grandkids I'd imagine)
How to look like a flamboyant Coke-commercial model
How cute little tots look lugging around one of them bottles
Went to an office dinner and had nice desert..homogeneous manga (I mean mango!) soup, plus sago and unbusted grapefruit pulp, deeelicious.
Missed finding a doodlebook - i think doodle are the key to unlocking the weirdness that is my brain and personality - how to be smart-alecky, dull, humourous, bitter, cheerful and nice at All Times.
Played Katamari 2 on PS2 the other day, at a friends' place.
I'm a newbie, 'nuff said. But like the dialogue a whole lot,
The king's purple stocking-clad (intriguingly muscular) legs
And the crack the designer/s had to be on.
Designed my desk calendar till Sept.
Dreamt of work, le sigh.
Streams on Cobblestones
The meandering road of a slightly introverted mind. Normally witty. At turns morbid and cheerful. A little weird. Have fun.

Let's see...the interesting stuff over this year:
In 2005, I discovered
1) Doritos chips and chunky tomato salsa
2) that I love being in the thick of conference madness(!!?)
3) that Singapore has a Fairy Point at its eastern-most tip
4) that the Wizard Howl strikes me as a combination of Xelloss from Slayers (the hair) and Irrylath from Meredith Ann Pierce's Darkangel trilogy (the whole heart thing)
5) the usefulness of uploading fanfics into my PDA!
6) it is fun to use waiting time on an ink sketch
7) how to forge posters of well-known IT brands
8) I can fangirl in the abyss that is the Taiwanese (idol) dramas (good to know the hormones still work...)
9) I am a shutterbug inclined towards flowers(...and not much else), with a surprising lack of squeamishness toward buggies.
10) that it is possible get bored of blogging angst
11) two fantasy authors whose last names end with "rr" - Katharine Kerr and Judith Tarr - do not confuse the two, esp when you are wrecking brains (not nec. your own) to remember a trilogy read/dreamed at the immortal age of thirteen (Brother Alf, haha!)
12) how gutbustingly funny it is to see a guy cross-dressing as Lacus and dancing to "Dragostea Din Tei"
13) that the larger family trees grow, the further apart the branches
14) a desire to re-look at things from the past, but a fear at how I would see them at 25 (argh! 26!) - i.e. purchased but unopened vcd of The Dark Crystal since October 05, and a vague reluctance to buy The Labyrinth (despite an purely academic desire to research into the whole fangirling of the Jareth Phenomenon aka David Bowie with Huge long Hair)
15) the odds of things in an airport
In 2006, I discovered
1) a nervous interest in Dean Koontz-ish novels which have those unreadable messages later translating in other stuff - altho sometimes his drama-mama-ness get a mite over the top.
2)if I were a character from MIB, I would be the many-armed alien hiding in the mail sorting machine...altho it sure would be fun to say "I live out of a locker."
3) a sincere lack of interest to read Wuthering Heights
4) Slices in PS6 *sad*
5) if I were to have a list of characters I deem "hot", it isn't the list what would be surprising, but the definition/s...
I am sure there's more serious stuff to say, but what's the fun in dat?
Speaking of which, my tiny audience base, am finally Messenger-ed at invisiblizer@hotmail.com. Be free to keel over in shock, heh.
