Am typing this entry now because am pretty certain that my right arm (I can't feel my feet...) will fall off tomorrow. Painted two walls and mopped six floors today, phew! Topped of with some heavy moving and for once it is not my brain that is tired out that the end of the day but my body, heh. Am once again sensing the arrival of my dirt-phobia which hung around a few months after the last moving of home.
Kyou Kara Maou has, with episode 12, cross the line between anime and pure fan service. Even with normal pairings the plot doesn't get this stretched - correction - i think the plot kinda snapped sometime after Wolfram fiance thing, argh! But am hopelessly addicted to the whole Yuuri personality - is he just going from one adventure to the next without more development on the Maou thing? Beside Conrad is just too too droolsome. Nice to know the hormones are still working, heh.
Brought some stuff back to finish - am getting exceedingly bitter - but who else to blame but me for being such a ambitious pushover? On the upside, I like putting together manuscripts! ^_^ The whole concept of the book kinda floats in front of you while you are assembling the manuscript and who writing what can make such a difference.

The meandering road of a slightly introverted mind. Normally witty. At turns morbid and cheerful. A little weird. Have fun.

Argh! PoT 123 pulled a Gundam masked blondie moment on the audience! Kinda like Wilson in Home Improvement. Yah, if I ever have to give Inui an English name, it'd be Wilson. Hahah, the "Function Ceased" was quite cute.
Postern of Fate - real disappointment for me. I want a scheming evil villan! Not a Fascist wannabe movement in the making as the ultimate antagonist.
Finally did some packing. Should I be worried that I now have five carton boxes and the words "anime" and "comics" are on every one of them? Of course, I load the boxes with other lighter stuff, like empty cd-cases or bags, so I don't put my spine out when the time comes to lift them.

Man, can't wait for September where I have my precious long break waiting for me. If I can only get pass the next four weeks in one piece.
Will be moving to Clementi by the end of the month - so no more late nights at chalets, wah - and i haven't started packing yet! Am pondering what to do with all the books (comics or otherwise) and the sheer amount of stuff! Although, am getting a real high from the thought of being able to wallpaper my walls with anime posters and setting up my TV again. I dun care if I have to sleep in a hammock, but I want my entertainment system up (however pitifully tiny it is...) Am also looking forward to the brief period where I will be able to shuttle between to places of lodging, heh.
Have been reading Christie's Postern of Fate - i dunno if it is because I have been stoned out of my mind lately - but it seems to meander all over, the action not drawing enuff interest for me.

*sigh* thursday was a bad and good day, from different points of view. My dad tells me I'm putting too much of myself into my job and when things dun go right, I worry more than I should. I wanna be in a job where I can work hard at it, but be able to focus on other interests while I am off. Right now, need to re-focus myself.
Anyways, managed to make it for the last day of the chalet and marathoned Samurai Deeper Kyo - the mechanics of which are not the kind of thing one should contemplate when low on sleep, makes you wanna bash your head in. Hate them for tossing in that love square at the second last episode! My money's on Kyo because how could could the series expect Yuya to fall for Kyoshiro given how little time she had known him + Murasama's dying wish? Oh well, just speculations. Really regretted not bringing Guu to bizarr-rize young minds, heheh. Next year, may not be able to stay over night since will be at Clementi already....
Before the chalet had watched Spiderman 2 - which I heartily enjoyed ("heartily" kinda makes me sound broad and barrel-chested doesn't it?) Go MJ!
Oh did I mention that since I didn't sleep for 30 hours that day, I concussed for the next 18 hours straight and only got up at 7am this morning? So now my internal alarm clock is back to normal, heh....
Have also just finished watching Kyou Kara Maou till ep 11 - basically figuring out how eyecandy, humour and yaoi innuendos function in such a series.
Rie Takada has a new series out, H3 (Happy Hustle High), which Chuang Yi has already got their publishing paws on. Seems quite funny the first volume.

Feeling very very bitter today - at how dumb I can be and how sucky the world can be. Despite all the work I will be putting in tomorrow, will be expecting an huge explosion come Monday. *sigh* The past few months I have been feeling overloaded and tired - having to watch out for so many things (the ones that make sense and the totally ridiculous ones) that I can't even think properly or get uncertain. Because if what my dad explained to me about office politics is true - me feeling very sad. I couldn't even eat dinner and I can't see me anymore.
Looooong time no type...lots of stuff happened....
1) Devoured more Agatha Christie - the most spooky of which was Crooked House - not enuff interaction between the protagonist and Sophie, imho - but the murderer was quite scary - reading her made me think of a Wednesday Addams who looks like Uncle Fester. *shiver* But have tried to wean myself off the addiction, especially since I rented a Jayne Ann Krentz and the bookshop owner was surprised I was not borrowing aother of Dame Christie's.
2) Found an old one of JAK's novels - back when her heros and heroines went off and had a marvellous adventure. Before she began over-dosing readers on the plot device of Oh-Poor-Hero/Heroine-so-taken-advantage-of-by-your-family-members-let-me-handle-it-because-I-know/love-you-better-than-your-own-family.
3) Things at work have reached a new low when after work I am so dazed, I dun even have the brain power to contemplate a shelf of Agatha Christie novels seriously and pick one. Have instead turned to JAK's lighter romances.
4) As a communications student (ha!), I was privileged to view first-hand just how mis-communication can occur - in all its forms and varieties. No wonder Ang said that miscommunication is the normal state of things.
5) Watched Day After Tomorrow - had loads of fun with the weather happennings - didn't you? - loved the tornados, but it was really the land super-cool hurricanes which caught my attention. It only really strained at the part where there were six tornados prancing over Los Angeles (?) - but it added to the feeling of being in a weird nightmarish/dream world. The wolves were scary enough to give me a severe nightmare.
6) Had a scary dream - a really scary one in a long time - it involved werewolves appearing on the scene and more and more of them popping up. I dunno to blame it on the wolves in DAT or the tornadoes or Harry Potter. It was coupled with a town and a kindly old witch (a lot like in Shrek 2) who was actually evil. She was asking my mind's eye 'Where is the book?' And like any smart-alec protagonist, my inner Sauron said 'Ha! Not gonna tell you~!' That when her face started changing into a menacing one and then Irvine and Selphie are racing past a highway, sparse trees on one side and werewolves are popping up again and Selphie goes mad howling at them (that I blame of HP!) and Irvine is speeding like crazy to escape them. Against the blanket of indigo night, the silhouette of a werewolf appears next to a tree. Coming to a stop like an Egyptian drawing, his ears sharp and alert (that's gotta be jeans he's wearing, all my dream werewolves wear tight sexy Levis, yeah), and hooked on his left paw, being dragged behind him is a dark shape that can only be a human victim. So I get the distinct feeling Selphie is changing but Irvine, focused on the road, doesn't notice - (Scarlet Fever's fic and that Resident Evil looping on one of Courts TV seems to be responsible) - and I think hey! that is so horror-movie, except I am trapped with them! Arghhhh!........WAKE.
7) Talking about horror - after I discovered 1999 in my sis's room, we started a discussion on how is supernatural horror different from the horror created by sci-fi. One is scary because of the unknown. The second is scary because it is known - the situation, however nightmarish, is logically arrived. Which makes me thing - what the hell are human beings thinking?
8) Sleepy now. Night ^_^
p.s. drooled over more Haru when re-reading Fruits Basket - eeeee~ he's so cool!
